Felix’s Atlanta Nominated for 4 Peachy Awards 2026

We've got some pretty peachy news. 🍑

Felix's Atlanta has been nominated in FOUR categories in the Peachy Awards Atlanta!

For 25 years, Felix's has been more than a place to grab a drink. We've tried to be Atlanta's neighborhood queer bar — a place to meet friends, sing way too loudly, celebrate the big stuff, forget about the bad stuff, and occasionally make some questionable decisions on a Monday night.

So seeing Felix's, our people, and the community around us recognized in four different categories means a hell of a lot.

🏳️‍🌈 Best Queer Bar — Felix's Atlanta

This one is especially meaningful to us.

Since 2001, Felix's has been part of Atlanta's LGBTQ+ nightlife community. Through a lot of changes — in Atlanta, in queer nightlife, and at Felix's itself — the idea behind this place has remained remarkably simple:

Queer people belong here.

Whether you've been sitting at our bar for 20 years or walked through the door for the first time last weekend, we want Felix's to feel like the kind of neighborhood bar where you can actually belong.

Our goal has always been something like "Cheers for Queers" — except Cheers probably didn't stay open late enough.

🎤 Best Karaoke — Sloppy Seconds

If you've experienced Sloppy Seconds, you already understand this nomination.

Every Monday night after trivia, Betsi takes over and things get progressively less respectable.

Sloppy Seconds isn't a singing competition. You don't need perfect pitch. You don't need choreography. Frankly, depending on the evening, you may not even need to remember all the words.

It's fun, irreverent, slightly drunk gay-bar karaoke, and that's exactly why we love it.

Some people can genuinely sing. Some people believe they can sing. Both are equally welcome.

Sloppy Seconds happens every Monday at 10 PM at Felix's.

🍸 Bartender of the Year — Candace Weslosky

We couldn't be happier to see Candace Weslosky nominated for Bartender of the Year.

Great neighborhood bars aren't built by furniture, neon signs or drink specials. They're built by the people behind the bar who remember your name, remember your drink, introduce you to somebody new and somehow know when you need another round — and when you probably don't.

Candace represents so much of what we want Felix's hospitality to be: fun, welcoming and unmistakably Felix's.

Now we need Team Felix's to show up for her.

And then there's David York, nominated for Number One Fan.

Every great neighborhood bar has those people who become part of its story.

They're not technically employees. They don't own the place. Yet somehow it wouldn't quite feel like the same place without them.

David is one of those people.

Felix's has always believed that the line between "customer," "regular," "friend" and "family" can get wonderfully blurry. David's nomination feels like recognition not just for one Felix's regular, but for the incredible community of people who have made this bar their own over the years.
